Leiden is a small city in the Netherlands, and is easily accessible via Amsterdam.
I’d recommend flying into Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, and taking the quick 30 minute train ride over to Leiden.
The main train station is Leiden Centraal, which leaves you off right in the middle of the city.
Leiden is one of my favorite cities in the Netherlands! It is smaller than many other Dutch cities, while still having the same picturesque details of winding streets and canals running through town.
Stroll along the main pedestrian Haarlemmerstraat and check out the shops & cafes.
